Booking Accommodation Terms & Conditions (including on-line bookings)


To make a booking, you can check availability and book online. If you book via the telephone, fax or online ‘enquiry form’, we will advise of availability at the time of the reply. NB: however, that until we have confirmed that a booking has been made for you an offer of accommodation has not been legally made.

All bookings must be guaranteed by a credit or debit card, valid for the date of arrival. All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of the confirmed booking and at the tariff according to the season or special offer/late deal.

Special Offer prices & Late Deals:

To guarantee pricing quoted in Special Offers and/or Late Deals you must use the quoted ‘code’ and either book by telephoning us within the agreed period or by booking online If you make the booking online after a Special Offer has finished, the price will not be valid and will revert to the normal price.


An amount equivalent to 50% of the totals booking value is required in advance to secure your booking offline. We only secure this amount via your credit and/or debit card.

For all online bookings a 100% deposit is required as payment in advance.


All cancellations of your booking must be made no less than 48 hours before your arrival date. If you have paid a deposit and cancel within this time period we will refund your deposit less a 10% administration fee. If you cancel less than 48 hours or do not show on your arrival date the amount equivalent to 100% of the total cost as per the booking value will be charged to your credit/debit card, less an allowance for food and service if the room cannot be re-let.

If you have paid 100% for the booking using a credit or debit card online the same policy Applies but for the total amount.

Check In & Check Out:

Unless prior arrangements have been made the following times must be strictly adhered to:

Earliest Check In time: 14.00 hours on day of arrival

Latest Check Out time: 11.00 hours on day of departure

NB: A charge may apply for late checkouts.

You may be able to leave your luggage with us and we will put it in your room once it has been cleaned. Please confirm with us in advance

Car Parking:

The 6 Car Parking facilities are available to residents free of charge. The Queen Victoria

Guesthouse accepts no responsibility or liability for any customer vehicles parked in the

Guest House Car Park or along the front of the Guest house on the public highway

Room Policy:

No Pets are allowed

No Alcohol is allowed in the rooms unless purchased from the Hotel Bar only

All rooms must not occupied by more than the number of persons stated and booked

The proprietors do not accept any responsibility for valuables left in the rooms

Behaviour & Conduct:

In the event or in the proprietors opinion, the behaviour/conduct of a guest(s) is such that the comfort, enjoyment and security of others is inhibited/threatened, the proprietors reserve the right to cancel the accommodation without refund

Comfort and cleanliness of rooms and facilities is important for all guests and we kindly ask that all quest rooms are kept reasonably clean and tidy. All rooms are cleaned and checked daily and any Breakages and Damages will be recorded and charged for on departure

Please try to avoid all undue noise and behaviour that may disturb or distress other guests. Thank you.

Data Privacy:

In order to take and confirm any Booking, your personal details are required. Under the laws of the Data Protection Act 1998, we undertake to assure all customers that your data is held safe and secure under lock and key and that it will not be passed on to any 3rd party without your express permission.


The Hotel is covered by a Public Liability Insurance. Please see reception area for certificate. When booking your stay you are entering into a legally binding contract as per the above T&C’s. It is highly recommended that you take out Holiday Insurance cover
